Who doesn’t love a classic germanium Fuzz Face? Vintage, new old stock components on a high quality reproduction first issue PCB bring you the best of the original circuit, with far more care taken for the discerning ear. Our “3 eyed” FF offers that along with added versatility. The middle control acts as part of an RC circuit that can limit bass and offer a more contoured midrange that takes on more of an overdrive quality, rather than full bore fuzz. At maximum rotation the circuit is stock. Its effect is subtle, but heavily limits the lowest range of the frequency response. This unit comes equipped with vintage Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors, Vishay and Mallory capacitors and 'red dot' Mullard AC107 germanium transistors, picked and matched for the application. Additionally, this unit is fitted with a high quality Carling footswitch. This unit features classic output gain.
